SOTRALENTZ Construction is sponsoring the work of Robin Godde on show at the DEMI/MOOR exhibition at Halle Verrière, Meisenthal, from November 18, 2012. This monumental sculpture consists of 19 ribbed concrete reinforcements, each 6mm in diameter, with a total length of 70 metres.
Robin Godde has taken over the centre of Halle Verrière with a steel wire installation, inviting spectators on a journey of artistic discovery. Seeking to extend the work to the maximum, in as many directions as possible, he explores the potential of a material bounded only by its anchor points, and thus free to describe broad curves as a result.
The culmination of a programme set up by Cadhame and HBK (Hochschule der Bildenden Künste), Sarrebruck, the exhibition brings together six recent graduates and final-year students from the German academy and the Strasbourg School of Decorative Arts.
The goal of the event is to encourage circulation and professionalisation of
the participants by creating an ‘ideas factory’ and a relational network
d’échanges propices au lancement de ces jeunes carrières artistiques.
Exhibition, Halle Verrière, Meisenthal November 18 – December 23, 2012.
